This camp will be held on the site located at 12 Georgianna Drive. The age limit is 12 years old and there are only 25 spaces available. We are encouraging parents to complete the application and submit before all of the spaces are filled. The camp is free and breakfast and lunch will be provided. We are simply trying to fulfill our promise to pass along our great history to all of our children and make them feel some pride in being Gullah. This is a dying culture and we want to instill the importance in our children the rich history of our people. They will be involved with drumming, indigo dyeing, basket sewing, jewelry making and storytelling. We are blessed to have camp counselors who have a great deal of experience in working with children again this year. We encourage you to stop what you are doing and fill out an application today and mail it to: 3 Farmers Club Road, Hilton Head, SC 29926 attn: Louise Miller Cohen or email to: hhistoryteller@aol.com This camp is made possible by the Breedlove Foundation ![]()
